Add Groups or Tagging for Access Control

We support many customers that have many different regulatory requirements. Not all of our staff can support all of those environments. We use the "Company Access" area on each user to restrict environments, but each time a new org comes on board that requires exemption, each user account has to be modified. With hundreds of users, this is a very tedious task. It would be fantastic if Tags or Groups could be introduced so we could not only easily identify those customers, but also scale company access more easily.

Hi Mason, thanks for taking the time to lay this out — this is really helpful feedback.
The pain point you're describing is one we understand well: when a new company comes on board with restricted-access requirements, having to touch every individual user account to update Company Access simply doesn't scale, and it puts a heavy burden on the few admins who can make those changes.
The good news is this is actively in discovery with our product team right now — we've moved this post to Under Review to reflect that. We're exploring approaches like company groups or tags that would let you define access at the group level, so adding a new restricted company would be a single change rather than hundreds of per-user edits, and you'd also get the easier identification benefit you mentioned.
We can't commit to a timeline yet, but your input directly shapes this work. A couple of things that would help us as we design this: roughly how many distinct "access tiers" or groupings do you think you'd need, and would you expect to group companies, users, or both?
We'll update this post as the work progresses. Thanks again for the feedback!
